"It is a big hotel, but on our visit there were very few guests staying, and it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient. The grounds are lovely, with grassy lawns and well-kept borders, but sadly, the view from our room was of a stone wall and some tatty looking sheds. The room was large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was in need of some refurbishment. Breakfast was cooked to order."

"The whole hotel was extremely clean and well decorated. Our room was huge with a fantastic view over the golf course and the bathroom had underfloor heating. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of cooked and buffet food. The bar menu for evening meals is a bit limited but the food we had was good and well cooked. We have been to this hotel many times and will be back again."
