"I would love to give 5 stars, but I’m disappointed by the gym conditions and staff attitude. The pool is great, but the gym is badly maintained and after raising the issue I had the feeling that staff did not really care."

"Wow I’m beyond impressed with the Lebua Tower. We are in Thailand for the first time. We booked the hotel because we wanted to dine at the sky bar from Hangover 2. A couple days before we checked in we were contacted by the staff I let them know we were celebrating our honeymoon. They did not say anything ahead of time but when we arrived we were met with the best service ever and received news that we were being upgraded to massive suite in the 54th floor. We get to the room and also they had decorated it for our honeymoon. Like I said earlier beyond impressed with their staff and treatment will definitely be back in the future and will recommend to all my friends. Lebua Tower delivers"

"A room with a view of the river is well worth it! The nighttime view from the balcony lived up to the pictures. The staff at Lebua are exceptional. We were impressed from check-in to check-out with how lovely all staff were. Friendly, helpful, and attentive. We splurged on lounge access and I appreciated how, at the end of the night, staff went around to each table to kindly let us know the Lounge would be closing soon and offered to put in one last drink order before closing. We loved our stay! The only flag I would raise for first-time visitors is that booking Grab (Thailand's version of Uber) can be a bit tricky as many drivers seem hesitant to enter the gated entry. This is easily overcome by walking out to meet them instead. Highly recommend and would book again!"

"Property is starting to show age, but everything is clean and up to par. Sure, fancier hotels are in the area (Mandarin), but you'll pay 2x the price for a similar experience. Very nice river views, convenience to shopping areas, good for a couple of days."

"SO/ Bangkok is a nice hotel with nice size rooms however, it is in need of a refresh. The lobby and check in areas are nicely updated, but the rooms are a tad worn. The check in process takes too long and is frankly inefficient. The pool is awesome, though, again, the cushions around the pool are in desperate need of a refresh. The staff is super kind and helpful! The food was good, I ate room service and at red oven. I had an issue with my outlets in my room not working and while they sent someone up right away to fix it, unfortunately, the outlets just didn’t work (even after providing me with an adapter). I didn’t press the issue because it just wasn’t the biggest deal, but it ties into the rooms being a bit dated. My last gripe would be the checkout process…you leave a card at checkin to which they pre-authorize for a certain amount, so it made 0 sense to me when they asked me for a card to pay at checkout for my hotel chargers. I get they are going to reverse the deposit, but that just doesn’t makes sense. I’ve worked in hospitality and what we do is authorize the card for incidentals and when you check out we just charge the card on file for whatever the guest charges. To charge the guest again and then have them wait for the initial charge to be reversed (which they said takes 14 days) is crazy, sorry. I still think the hotel is worth staying at, it just wouldn’t be my 1st choice at this price point"

"Beautiful hotel and exceptional service. The location is excellent and everything was to the best to our expectations. The room was beautiful and spacious with traditional decor with all the modern features provided. We loved everything, and wouldn’t stay any other place when in Bangkok!"
