It's a cheap hotel, so it's not fair to expect too much.
However, "Hotels.com" description is a little misleading... there isn't a 24 hour front desk (you get a night pass), and only one of the staff appeared to speak english (although they do try and be helpful). There's no lift so you're carrying your bags up the stairs, and while there was a fridge, it was of limited use given the power stops every time you leave the room.
Some of the reviews describe the amazingly decorated rooms, but ours called "Mystical Egypt" was just a plain, windowless room.
The key thing is the location - what you save in money, you lose in time.
The nearest station is "Hua Mak" on the Airport Rail Link line (it's a 20 minute walk from the hotel). Using the Rail Link and connecting to the BTS Sky Train takes about an hour to get into town. This may be a deal-breaker if you're pushed for time.
On the plus side, the hotel is just a 5 minute walk to a large "Tesco Lotus" supermarket.
