It was really very loud untill one o' clock in the morning. If you like to go out at night, it's no problem. But if you want to sleep it's the wrong hotel.

The heart of Kaosan road party scene.
The hotel itself is not bad, and can be recommended for people that come to Bangkok for the Kaosan road party scene, as it is right in the middle of it. Sleeping before 3.30 am is impossible. During the day it's super silent and enjoyable. Great if you went out like a warrior the night before.

2 nätter på hotellet. Centralt, billigt, ac,. Ingen städning under vistelsen. Mycket hög musik till 03:00 på morgonen.Gick inte att sova. Mycket lyhört, som pappväggar. Hårda sängar, litet rum. Luktade Marijana . Bo inte här.

UNSAFE WORST HOTEL WORST SERVICE
Do NOT stay here. I booked for 8 nights and left on night 3 after several days of begging to be moved rooms, begging Hotels.com to help me and receiving no help, transfer or refund. I lost the money I spent and had to come out of pocket for a new hotel. But, that is how unsafe I felt. Outside of it being truly the worst hotel, worst service I’ve ever received the room it self reeked of mold and urine. The windows in the bathroom didn’t shut so the humidity and bugs were awful. The wifi was so bad I couldn’t use my phone to plan trips and could hardly communicate with friends and family. The TV turned on, but had zero channels. I asked for them to fix all of these things and they sent a woman to sweep the room (what?!)! The room was dimly lit and up a dark and scary staircase separate from the rest of the hotel. I asked to be moved to the main part of the hotel and was refused, even after being told rooms were available. There is absolutely no redeeming quality about this hotel. I’m shocked that hotels.com lists it as an available option and recommend they stop business with them before something awful happens to a guest. Yes, that is how unsafe it was. This experience and the lack of support I received truly ruined my trip and ruined my high praise of hotels.com, of which I’ve been a loyal member of.

Brilliant location, with stunning panoramic views of Bangkok from the rooftop pool. The street below was a complete madhouse, it was so noisy, you couldn’t sleep, this chaos went on till about 4am

the rooms do not reflect the photos, in the evening it is absolutely not possible to sleep, although they leave earplugs on the furniture I think it is right to warn before the problem. unfriendly reception, always seems to be doing you a favor. find more. absolutely.

The area around the hotel is party central (Khaosan Road). All the surrounding venues play music at night so loud that it is literally deafening until 2 in the morning. Impossible to sleep!! If we had known, we would not have booked the hotel. Staff were offhand. Roller on the glass sliding bathroom door was broken, so you had to lift the door to close it, very heavy. Room was so small you could only get out of one side of the bed. Bathroom was so small that there was no room for a sink. They put the sink in the bed room.

You get what you pay for. Violet tower has no elevator, I had to move luggage by myself. The noise is alot, I was able to sleep through it but I can see it might be a struggle for others. I booked it because I was excited for the pool, but guest are very load, super busy and the pool water was super gross, it seemed like no one cleaned the pool. Unless u are there to save, I wouldnt go again. Also staff could care less

隣のパブの騒音がすごく、部屋が振動で揺れる程でした。2日間滞在予定でしたが、2日目はさすがにキャンセルしました。

Hôtel bruyant mais complètement normal vu l’emplacement. Musique jusque tard dans la nuit. Par contre douche froide, signalé au personnel qui s’en contrefiche. Ensemble bien moyen. Compliqué à l’arrivée l’agent de l’accueil refuse notre numéro de réservation du site.... finalement au bout de 10 minutes elle trouve enfin !!

Extremely noisy!
Do not stay here unless you plan to party until 04.00, the music was so loud in our room that earplugs didn’t help because everything vibrated also... and not even nice music because there was a mix from two different places! Room was very tiny, nowhere to place anything. Pool was nice....

Accueil chaleureux. Très bien placé pour faire le .shopping à pied. Mais c'est un vieil hôtel et le confort est à revoir ,notamment au niveau de la salle de bain .Passable pour un court séjour.

The Khaosan Palace was a beautiful Hotel to stay. On the first day we had one of the cheaper rooms. The room itself was great but it is very near to the street and there is a very very loud Bar/Club directly on the other side of the street. Bc of this, we couldn‘t sleep until like 2am because of the noise and the bass that were veeery loud. We changed to another room the other day (into the Building where the Pool is) which was a bit more expensive than the other one, but we didn‘t mind to pay 250baht more, because it was more quiet and this room was even more beautiful and way bigger than our first one.

This place is “on kaosan” my room was window on the street. Noisy as if i was in a night club!! Bring good ear plugs and ear phone if you really want to sleep. But at 1am that was very quiet. Room is so small that 2 steps you are in the toilet, 2 steps out. Acceptable clean. No place to charge your phone . Suppose to have some code in your room for internet ; ask because there’s not. Pool is nice and view.

Fedt sted det ligger, men meget larm.
Det er 100% hvad man kan forvente, hvis man er mere grundig kan man få et bedre sted til pengene. Det ligger v. Khaosan road så super fedt byliv med dertil hørende larm. Så hvis du sover før kl 6 om morgenen vælg et andet hotel. Så er det total hongkong stil for det er super lille.

Der Violet Tower vom Khaosan Palace Hotel hat keinen Aufzug. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im 5. Stock. Im Zimmer fehlten alle Handtücher. Diese mussten bei der Rezeption extra geordert und abgeholt werden. Zimmer lag zur Khao San Road hin und es war sehr laut. Abends haben durch die Musik der Bars die Fensterscheiben im Zimmer vibriert.
