Honestly, I had a pleasant stay, I will recommend the place for the price I am very close by to the nearest town and essential needs.

The property was run down and I wouldn’t have expected to pay over £100 a night for the stay. The front entrance wasn’t in use due to maintenance. Although very cute, the owners young children were in the public areas and their toys in the foyer. The hotel was close to the pier which we wanted to visit.

OYO Baytree Lodge was easy to find. Clean, comfortable, tea making facilities in the room, beds were good. Could not find a person in the morning to hand keys to.

The room was not available when we arrived despite making the full payment online.. I had to stay in car with my young children and elderly mom throughout night as there were no hotel rooms available at that time.. money not yet refunded. Raised complaints as well.. no response

The bed was comfy and the shower had good water pressure and heat. Make sure to take shampoo/shower gel as we were only given a sachet of shower gel in the room. It was very noisy from when we arrived to after we tried to go to sleep. Very hot in room and unable to have windows open as the smoking area was directly outside the windows of the room so woken up several times due to guests chatting and smoking well past midnight up to 3am. Wet towel from previous guests in bathroom. Host was very apologetic. This is a family run business and they clearly care about residents but unfortunately we would not return due to the noise and basics not being what we want during our stay.

Room was clean and location was good, close to the pier and the City centre. Staff were very nice. The place was cheap so condition reflected that. Only issue for us was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. They allow pets and there was a very active dog next door!

Family run guest house with large parking bay out front. We had a bit of a surprise on arrival as the email sent by Expedia told us a £50 cash deposit was required. On arrival we were told this was actually £100 and only just had enough to cover this between us. A discussion with the owner established that the deposit amount had been updated about a month ago, but Expedia's booking messages had not caught up. The room was rather small for three, and curiously appointed (e.g. it had kettle & big tv, but no towel rail, toilet roll holder or anti-slip bath mat). Good location for exploring Anglesey and a short walk to the pier and local fish & chip pub. Slight surprise on leaving as we needed to remind the lady who took our deposit that we had in fact left one and would quite like it back! All sorted amicably, but a bit unusual.

Uninterested on our arrival, seemed more devoted to children and presumably an extended family. We were shown to our room which stank of cigarette smoke. Went out and on return it was better, but we were woken at 3am by the return of significant cigarette smoke. There is a unit at reception which beeps every 3 seconds which is clearly heard in the room all night despite it being advertised as sound proofed. One positive - somebody expressed concern that we had parked on the street and offered to move cars around so we could bring ours onto the forecourt, but not enough to make up for the negatives. Best part was leaving after 1 night of 3 booked. Breakfast nowhere to be seen as nobody available at 8 am. Caveat Emptor!

The stay was okay. When we drove up it felt like faulty towers. Parking is a little chaotic. Hotel needs upgrade and update decoration. Generally clean. Windowsills were dusty. Taps had some limescale on and shower curtain needed to be thrown as there was black mould on it. Family run business means there is quite a large extended family living there with young children and pets. Although the family were nice and helpful it did feel like you were encroaching in their family home. Also not sure the room fire door was upto code.
