We arrived and got into our room. The buildings need some help however it was sufficient as to what we we needed. Sleep and a shower. Room was very clean. Very dated paneling pink fixtures. Handle on shower broken. Hot water great. Power of shower good. We always bring our own linens. Space heater for heat.

We had 2 rooms for 3 nights. The location is excellent if you want to visit Acadia. The bed was very comfortable. The electricity, AC, TV and plumbing worked. There were no bugs in the rooms and we felt safe. But the pictured room was nothing like the very old and run down rooms we had. Mom's room #7 was very small and mine #21 was larger but the bathroom was not safe for anyone with mobility issues (like my mom). There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. This was not an issue for us especially with the location and price point I would most likely stay here again.

The property is very outdated and old. Everything is repaired with Luan plywood. The bed seemed clean enough and so did the shower. My shower started out with hot water but soon turned completely cold! This was a last minute choice to book as all others were sold out! I find nowadays most motels are seedy and I try to stay away from them as a rule. Don’t stay here only as a last resort!

The receptionist, Satin-Marie, and the maintenance man, Erin. were excellent, friendly and there to help with whatever you need. The small heater in the room would not turn on and Erin quickly determined what needed to be done. The motel is old, but clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. A good night. Will stay there again. As for as amenities, I don't want anything but a clean room and comfortable bed, and that is what I got.

The low price reflected the quality of the hotel. Our room was tiny by any standards. The sliding door for the bathroom was very difficult to open or close. The sink drain filled up with water so quickly that I used the bath faucet for everything. AC was loud. Very little shelf space in room or bathroom. Only a few electrical outlets available and no USB ports. On the plus side, everything was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, parking was right outside our door, and desk clerk was nice and efficient. Good TV with lots of channels. Location was only 2.5 miles from entrance to Acadia National Park and 5 miles from Bar Harbor.

This is a classic mid century motel. Decent mattress, great classic tub, clean and bug free. So it served the purpose of a place to stay the night before the MDI marathon. Would recommend.
