Ivy Manor Inn was conveniently located to Acadia National Park as well as walking distance for all things in Bar Harbor. Beautiful Inn with amazing staff! I would highly recommend this for a Bar Harbor or Acadia stay. So many great restaurants in Bar Harbor.

We stayed here due to cancelled flights, it’s a lovely property in the middle of Bar Harbor with lots of walkable areas to explore. Their front lawn is a popular gatherings spots for drinks and live music. Only issues was they wanted to kick our friends out of the lawn if they didn’t order a drink and the free breakfast is just muffins and juice.

AMAZING TIME! Incredible location, wonderful staff, you can tell they care about the inn as much as any owner would. Each morning they meticulously clean the front lawn, it was truly fascinating to watch how hard they worked! The bartenders, musical guests, staff inside all 100/10! Cannot recommend this place enough. My only complaint would be WiFi provided is spotty (while we want to unplug on vacation, we did want to be easily accessible to sitters at home) Other than that, do yourself a favor and book this stay, you will not be disappointed! Worth every cent!

Beautiful inn with a very relaxing and vibrant front lawn depending on when you sit out - quiet and relaxing in the morning for coffee and delicious muffins, etc., complimentary of the inn or after 5pm when the fire pits are lit and then vibrant and festive during the live music sessions 12-5pm daily. Our room was very pretty although dimly lit. Ladies bring a makeup mirror with lighting if that’s important. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The temperature of our room was hard to adjust. The room above us was very noisy, which may be normal in all inns - this was our first stay in an inn, and the front door was loud when not softly closed but our room was right next to it. I would recommend staying here due to its central location and being easily accessible to the harbor and downtown. I’d just recommend asking for help with the thermostat settings, bring a light-up makeup mirror, and choose a top-floor room. Beautiful unique place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Ivy Manor. The Inn is clean and comfortable. You really can't beat the location. We were able to walk to pretty much everything, and the nearby Island Explorer stop is perfect for things that are a little further away. There are tons of great shops and restaurants all around the Inn. A parking spot is included with the room which is a godsend !(parking is neither easy to find or cheap in Bar Harbor). We loved the grab and go breakfast and the daily entertainment out front. It's nice to be able to have a drink and hear live music in a comfy Adirondack chair after a day of sightseeing. Patrice in housekeeping was so pleasant every day we saw her. My only slight negative on the room is it was kind of small. There really isn't a lot of space to hang or store your clothes. 1 or 2 night's you'll be fine, but on a longer stay, you'll need to get creative with that. Otherwise, it's a special place that we'll definitely visit again.

The photos on Expedia and online make the hotel appear recently renovated. However, the room we were given was very outdated, with an old beige bathroom that looked nothing like the photos. Perhaps some rooms have been renovated, but ours clearly had not, which felt misleading and like a false representation of what was advertised. The shower had very low water pressure, and the floors felt sticky. On the positive side, the outdoor shows were enjoyable, and the exterior of the hotel was attractive and well maintained. The rest was very disppointing.

The room was acceptable; leftovers sat in our mini fridge, and a random stain marked the bed upon arrival. We traveled from Portland, ME to mark our 5 years, and the experience felt somewhat disappointing. My wife and I avoid confrontation and dislike issues, so we discarded the leftovers, and since the stain was on the outter blanket, we simply skipped sleeping with it. Otherwise, the staff remained friendly, and the beer garden impressed; we watched Takoda perform, and I genuinely mean this young artist deserves recognition from American Idol. Close to Acadia, the location proves entirely ideal.

Very pleasant stay in the cottages that they have in the back. Clean and comfortable rooms that were private and very quiet A highlight was the front lawn music from local artists each day from 12 until f5 with bar service.
