"We LOVED staying at this charming bed/breakfast in Bar Harbor!! It was so close to everything, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The breakfast (included) was fantastic, and they always had homemade scones/cookies/biscuits ready for the taking. Our room was very quaint and well-appointed. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us...we'll be back!!!!"

"Breakfast was delicious although limited in proportions and only two choices. I appreciate that this must cut down tremendously on food waste and would like to have another option for protein. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Room was clean with some issues of TP holder and shelving for towels not secured to the walls. No drain cover for the sink. Temperature was comfortable and thermostat easy to adjust. "

"The people who work there are so nice and very thoughtful of my experience. This was my first time traveling to Bar Harbor, and I felt very welcomed to the community. They gave me great recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. The room and bathroom were spotless (shout out to Bill!!!), and the breakfast and treat we so tasted and fun. Definitely book this place for a safe stay and warm welcome to the town!"

"Underwhelmed. Cottage was adorable at first. Not the cleanest, bugs in windows, stains on rugs and chairs, chips on the floor. Woke up to no hot water. The bathroom was clean. Went to front to ask about it and grab “coffee”. Honestly, coffee was similar to motor oil. A keurig would have been a better choice for the lobby. Maintenance came while we were at breakfast. I followed up and was told that I turned off breaker, which I didn’t do. Girl was polite when I asked for a refund for the 2nd...

"We had a perfect stay at this beautiful hotel. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. The room was perfect, clean and comfy. The location and view can’t be beat. The breakfast was amazing, best complimentary breakfast we have ever experienced. We loved the heated indoor pool and hot tub. Overall great experience. We hope to be back soon!"

"Fabulous hotel! Rooms were very clean. I have a view of Frenchmans Bay and downtown Bar Harbor. Sunrise everyday over the lobster boats and lobster buoys. Breakfast was great. Hotel has front loading washer and driers where you need a room key to get in, clothes safe. Front desk personnel was friendly and provided water bottles when needed. Very close to Acadia. I loved this hotel!"

"I had the loveliest stay at the Cleftstone Inn. To start, the staff is welcoming, kind and attentive. From the moment you check in, you feel right at home as you get acquainted with the property and your room. The property has such a homie feeling and my room was quaint but chic. Breakfast and tea time had to be my favorite part of the Inn as there were always different options to choose from and everything was so tasty! I will definitely be returning to the Inn and bringing friends with me....

"I feel the breakfast should have had more options. I was surprised that my room was not cleaned and made up daily. The parking seemed adequate. The view from my room was great. It was probably the best thing about staying there along with the receptionist who was extremely helpful in making tour reservations."
