"We would definitely stay here again, outstanding rooms (we stayed in a bungalo).
The breakfast is an incredible experience, outstanding.
Two things need improvement:
Big pothole at the front entrance, which I missed and drove into bottoming out the car. Secondly, the parking entrance/area could be smoother, jagged rocks and bumpy terrain. Don't show up with low profile tires/performace car, could be problematic... otherwise park on the street...
Overall a hidden gem!!, well situated between Zahara and Tarifa, letting you take advantage of both cities."
"This hotel is very nice and has beautiful grounds. I would say for a five star hotel, the lobby and common areas need serious updating. The seating around the hotel is a bunch of hodgepodge decoration. My biggest complaint, however, is the food. For being a five star hotel, the quality of the food was low and frankly tasteless. A salad we ordered consisted of canned veggies. Furthermore, we decided to try that Saturday night buffet at 75 euros per person - a total ripoff! The food quality was mediocre at best and everything we tried was just average or tasteless.
This is a nice hotel but if you stay here, plan to eat at outside restaurants for nice food."
"Gruphotel Conil Playa was our first ever Adults-only hotel experience and it was nice not having splashing, noisy kids at the pool for a change. This property is only 5-years old, super modern and airy, spacious with beautiful fish sculptures honoring the “Atún Rojo” (bluefin tuna) for which this region is famous. Our partial sea view room with balcony was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was better than any we’ve ever seen, including bottles of open Cava (Spanish bubbly) that can be paired with nearby orange juice for a Mimosa, if desired. Made to order omelette station or ready-made freshly fried eggs (instead of scrambled eggs under a hood). We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Snack Bar and a dip in one of their multiple pools and sun bathing. Our beach time was with friends in nearby Palmar, so we didn’t walk down the path (and stairs?) to the hotel’s nearby beach. This is a hotel and chain that we will gladly book again in our future travels!"
"The food was great, the room was excellent, and the bar was super. The pools and pool bar were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment was enjoyable, and the singer was excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful stay."
