"The LaQuinta Bardstown is conveniently located less than 5 mins from downtown and less than 10 mins from Heaven Hill and Willett distilleries. The property is well maintained. My room and the commons areas were immaculate. Breakfast was good, too. Staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay there again on my next visit to Bardstown."

"The Motel was obviously designed for travelers who only stay one night. There were no accommodations for storing clothes in the room. We stayed for five nights and had to keep our packing cubes on the bench. It would be nice if there was a chest of drawers or something to accommodate long-stay travelers. It doesn't have to be in all rooms, but there should be some to help with this. The television in the room was a disaster. It did not work, and we could get no help from the staff. They...

Todd, one of the owners, was very friendly and helpful with our trip, and he was willing to accommodate special requests, including helping arrange a birthday cake for my husband. "They recently had a Fire and Water leak. We were not notified that there wouldn’t be breakfast due to the damage. We chose this hotel for that reason. Notifications should have been sent to us so we could chose to change our reservation."

"The employees were very nice and helpful. It was so hot, the outdoor pool was refreshing, clean and very big. I swam 2 times. Our room was comfortable and there were chairs and tables outside to enjoy a nightcap. I plan to take The Old Kentucky Dinner Train on our next visit, which is right across the street from this hotel. Will definitely come again."

"We had a room by the pool. The smelled damp and from chlorine. Groups in the pool played loud music till around 10pm. There was a fire alarm one night during the night. After hotel evacuated there was no explanation from staff as to what happened as we returned to our rooms only told clear to go back in. We would have preferred an explanation to squash our concerns."
