Plenty of choices of places to eat for an evening meal or visit the huge Leclerc shopping centre.

Good value overnight stay. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, free parking

I used to stay in the hotel before it became an Ibis and the rooms were more comfortable then. To have a small moveable table like the ones they use in hospitals on which they put your meals, is not necessarily a good look in a hotel!

The accommodation was good overall, but the location made transport to the town quite difficult. It felt a bit isolated, with no shops nearby, and we had to walk about 20 minutes uphill to reach the town centre. This made getting around less convenient than expected.

Pros and cons here. Beautiful, clean, well-located manor home and restaurant off a main street in charming Chartres. Walkable to all. Loved our apartment - the Florentine - one of 8, spacious, newly re-done, beautifully appointed, washer, full kitchen. But - ours had no real shower - a handheld in ...

Since my stay was an overnight break on a long journey, I cannot say that Barjouville made any impression on me
