"great place to stay if visiting Longwood"

"The Inn was clean and rooms and bathrooms were up to date. Beddings were comfortable and cozy. The property itself was lovely. Our room had a small deck off the back overlooking pretty gardens. It was very peaceful. Also a shout out to Nancy who took care of all our needs and Willie who was immediately attentive to a small TV glitch in the room and had it righted in no time! Also breakfast was excellent so Kudos to the cook and all staff."

"We stayed here after visiting Longwood Gardens. The location was very convenient, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was much larger than we expected and everything was very clean. My child and I shared one bed, and it was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was better than we anticipated, with a good variety and tasty options. We booked three hotels during this trip, and although this one was the cheapest, my friend said it was actually the most comfortable stay of all."

"Room was clean and spacious. Didn’t get to enjoy the pool but it looked great. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of options for my family. Omelet bar was busy but it smelled so good and looked delicious every one that walked by with one. I would have waited for one but I didn’t bring any cash down to give the cook a tip, so remember to pack a few dollars in your pocket."

"The Bookhouse House Hotel was our absolute favorite place we stayed all year. Room was clean and neat. Food and drinks within a block away. Check-in was easy and convenient. Owners and operators are great, helpful and very nice. Will absolutely be staying and going back this spring. What an amazing experience. "

"The main reception area lounge was beautiful. The room we had was almost perfect. The layout was great, the fireplace was a dream and my wife (this is Cornell speaking) went straight for that soaking bath tub. The grounds were interesting and it was nice learning about the history of the hotel. And the front desk reception staff were great - especially Renee."
