Great communication, very hospitable staff, quiet air of competence all round. Location is perfect for an overnight visit and the aircon was a blessing in the August heatwave. Free parking nearby made things very convenient. Highly recommend.

What a find! Great food, great service, great location. The Fanny Talbot exceeded our expectations in every sense. The outside seating area was a lovely addition to an already excellent building. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We would highly recommend The Fanny Talbot. Our room was lovely and spacious with an added bonus of a kitchenette area. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. The staff are very welcoming and the service at the restaurant was also top notch. We ate there the first night and had the set menu. Each plate was exceptional. We would definitely return.

Lovely boutique hotel. Easy check-in at the bar. Convenient parking around the corner in a gated lot. We stayed in a comfortable third-floor walk-up efficiency room. There is a tiny but well-appointed kitchenette, an enormous soaking tub, and beautiful skylights with inset remote-controlled blinds.

The Fanny Talbot apartment no.3 is an excellent holiday stay. I would thoroughly recommend it. But if I was to be really really critical I would say that a full length mirror would be a added benefit especially for the shorter people and a wall shelf in the bathroom would definitely help. Otherwise this property is fully equipped with everything you could need.

A gem in a Welsh seaside town. The name refers to the patron who gave the first land to the newly formed National trust ( I think). The room was spacious and the bed was excellent. There is air conditioning and the windows are sound proof so little sign of external noise from the high street. The kitchenette was perfect with a seating area for two. There is a private carpark with 6 electric charging points by clenenergy. The restaurant offers a top quality chef with £70 tasting menu

The check-in process was smooth, the host was very welcoming - the features of the room and service were explained in full. The room looked and smelt beautifully clean. All the amenities we could have wanted were provided. Great shower, complementary toiletries and a super comfy bed with top quality linen! Check out was hassle free. The rooms are above a pub and the courtyard below can get quite lively but it didn't disturb us too much. The only thing I would like to see is a private courtyard for staying guests - I didn't fancy going out for a smoke while revellers were sitting outside drinking - in my pyjamas or otherwise. Lol. Apart from that, our experience was perfect. We will return again if we come back to Barmouth. Thank you. :)
