The kitchen was somewhat equipped, some things were missing or broken and the fridge was completely full with old residents food so there was barely any room to put anything. The place was fine and mostly clean until people are gross and shave their beard over the sink and leave hair everywhere, don’t be that person. My recommendation if you plan to cook is to buy a sponge, containers, and an all purpose seasoning. The only seasonings in the kitchen were seasonings...

"A few missing things, no dish detergent, door and towel rails broken which we temped to fix, the tv was unwatchable due to delayed internet and pixelation and the smaller bedroom was clostriphobic and the showers were disappointing. The hot tub was a surprise and very enjoyable, location was excellent to the beach and restaurants, fabulous food. Michael's service was excellent when welcoming guests and he was very helpful."

"We would recommend avoiding booking here if you are relying on the advertised shuttle service from the airport. What they do a poor job of communicating is that the shuttle service they have costs $200 and must be booked 48hrs in advance. As another heads up to anyone who this may effect who are booking soon: the pool was quite unclean during our stay and the spa was run down with no schedule to repair it. All of this said, the rooms were fairly clean and the staff were very friendly."

"Great comfortable resort, lots of pools and banana lounges, undercover bar, seating area with tv to retreat from the sun or rain. Happy hour at 3-5pm with music so great vibe. Rooms are clean. Breakfast buffet is of excellent quality. I love the spinach and mushrooms. Lots of variety and great professional Nespresso coffee machine. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. You are right on the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Perfect for couples or families."

"The location is reasonably convenient, and it was a cheap option for late booking for a 2-night stay on a busy weekend. The property and rooms are pretty old - they do not look as new as the nice photos you see here. If you have a room on the street side, you will have quite a lot of road noise and light at night so bring earplugs and an eye mask. "As first time travellers to Palm Cove we had high expectations but disappointed at the Aging of the Peppers Resort. Overall the resort is good but needs work and upgrades. Staff were very helpful and friendly. If you have difficulties with climbing stairs then choose a room with a lift or other."

The resort itself is beautiful and has a lot of covered walking paths to get from the lobby to the rooms, pools, and restaurants, helpful when it rains on and off a lot in Cairns.
