"Simple, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. A bit worn in places (furniture, ceiling), bed a little sagging, kettle a bit grotty, and water pressure inconsistent, but all in all fine. Close to numerous supermarkets and walking trails and next to the worthwhile Dock Museum. "

"Breakfast was fine, not too many options and certain items ran out of quantity which they did finally provide again but after a wait. There was ample off side parking, with small fee or free."

"A lovely pub with a stunning beer garden and direct access to the canal path for walks to Carnforth Morecambe and Lancaster. Only issue was the heat in the room which I appreciate it was unusually hot but room 3 also has a large noisy extractor fan outside the window so it was either heat or noise. The fan does get turned off at night. Would still stay again and the food was excellent."

"The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower.
Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

"A beautiful property in a secluded location, with grounds for a short walk round to pass maybe 20 minutes. Clean and well sized one bedroom apartment. Didn't manage to use the pool but didn't seem busy when passing and this was in May.
Would have been more than perfect if it wasn't for the poor WiFi and the dog mess near the pond. So be careful if you're walking in the grass."

"Excellent value , very clean accommodation & lovely friendly staff & we were even treated to a Bird of prey display in the morning after breakfast in the beautiful grounds of the hotel . Thank you for a lovely stay & would highly recommend ."
