"The front desk and pool area was represented well in the photos. The rooms were awful - sink did not drain, carpets filthy, stains on the walls, bathtubs disgusting. The property is old and falling apart. The only part they keep nice is the gambling area. I wouldn't stay here if you paid me. We ended up not staying in the room due to the grossness. "

"I felt very unsafe. Things were broken in the room such as the shower head and lamp shades. There were grills in the area where you parked to check in making it difficult to get out of your vehicle safely. They allowed people to sleep in their vehicles in the parking lot. I booked through Expedia and neither the hotel nor Expedia would offer me any compensation for this atrocious experience. I will not be staying at any Budget Inn Express ever again."

"Our room was very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed either in the room or provided by the staff. Breakfast was excellent- lots of choices and very fresh. We did not use the pool or hot tub during our stay. I would definitely stay again when in Douglas. "
