"Great room and fantastic breakfast, nice pool and sauna. Outstanding views and courteous staff. But please note the hotel’s kitchen is closed on Mondays and there nothing in the hotel to eat for Lunch or dinner. There was no other restaurant in the area as well unless you are willing to drive a short distance up the hill - not many restaurants open there too - the ones that were open were expensive e.g 16EUR for a soup. "A beautiful hotel with engaging staff. Really appreciated the complimentary pickup and return to car rental. Breakfast excellent. Indeed no elevator but is part of preservation of heritage property. The stairs are roomy so managed (and staff helped carry up). In terrific location and restaurant recommendations were perfect. Quiet. Useable minifridge Windows open. "

"A rather lovely spacious place and for an excellent off-season price, but we felt like we were a bother. As well, we couldn’t find an open restaurant for supper anywhere within walking distance, even with the help of 3 different locals. A bar graciously provided grilled cheese and ham. Being alone in the “hotel” with no desk as expected didn’t help. The place was just not friendly and not helpful— you’re on your own!"
