"Gattini bills itself as a 5 star hotel. My partner and I would not normally pay the extra amount that that 5th star seems to require, but we were desperate to have a refuge from the August heat in Matera at the end of the day … and staying at Gattini was a great decision. It really is quite wonderful and didn’t seem so expensive once we experienced all the good things that Gattini offered. "Hotel localizado em um bairro mais periférico longe da área turística. Perfeito para quem está de carro, estacionamento é gratuito por sinal. Bom tamanho do quarto e do banheiro ( chuveiro com ducha e box espaçoso), cama e travesseiros confortáveis. Café da manhã com menos itens, mas tudo bem gostoso. Atendeu minha necessidades para 1 pernoite, retornaria. Há restaurantes muito bons nas proximidades do hotel."

All the staff were lovely and helpful, Martina in particular was fantastic helping us with ongoing transport and dinner recommendations. We had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend."
