"The balcony is amazing with a view of the water, along with the beauty of the flowers and plantings. Our host transported us both to/from the train station, and gave us a brief tour of the city. "We had the most wonderful stay at Salamare Rooms & Suites and only wish we could have stayed longer. The location is absolutely perfect, just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, with views of the sea from our room. We stayed in Room 9 (Junior Suite), which had a fantastic balcony. We loved being able to pop down for a swim, return to relax, then head back out to watch the beautiful sunset. "Staff were very friendly and let us store our bags before checking in. The included breakfast in the morning was perfect and the rooms were clean!"

"Great location; I had a view of the Cathedral and central Piazza from my room. Very walkable to all of the main sites. Lots of restaurant choices. Only downside was the glass recycling (not controlled by hotel) that came each morning at around 7:00 am; thankfully that only took about 5 minutes and then the vehicle was gone and things were very quiet again after that. The tradeoff of the location was well worth that minor inconvenience."
