"The property was in prime location. Just a few minutes to the beach by foot. Literally five minutes. Location was perfect. You can walk just a few blocks and be in the downtown area where you can get food and drinks without any worries about driving. The motel was cute and vintage. Very adorable. Great for a few nights day. If you don’t mind a tiny house living the Royal Palms is the perfect place."

"We booked a family suite to have more space. Our tv did not work, the sink would not drain, the sofa was so filthy that I took one of the extra bedspreads off an unused bed to cover it. The office staff tried to get the tv working and after lots of plunging the sink remained clogged. The office staff moved us to a smaller room. "Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Would have given it a 5 star but parking was horrible. The spots are to close together. To the point my husband had to get in the passenger seat and crawl over to the driver seat because you could not even walk between our car and the one next to us. The spaces have little to no room to get in and out of the car."

"First I have stayed in luxury hotels before- this is not one. Though it is unique in its on way because of the age of the building. The staff are excellent, professional and courteous. Having 2 restaurants on the lower level was very convenient and th managers welcome daily was nice. I think you are really paying for the view because it is absolutely beautiful!!! Riding on the Georgia Queen boat was really fun as well. Didn't do the dinner ride, but was nice. Everything is walking distance. ...
