"This was simply an awful experience not only could we reach a live person on the phone prior to our trip, no return call then it got worse when we arrived no check in desk no one to greet us or answer any questions. We had to dial a # to let them know we arrived. Staff never to be seen again. Paid 300.00 for the night broken coffee maker, no batteries in spoke detector simply an awful experience "

"Parking is 40 dollars a day. Bait and switch on 25 dollars credit. Hidden fees on your bill. Look over before leaving You can hear threw the rooms and our room 511 at 6 am in the morning we are awoken to a bagging sound that did not go away. I inform the front desk and he checked out. they apologized but did not offer accommodation. Great location to downtown but there are better hotels you can go to and they don't have a pool!!"

"The check-in was so easy and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations for food and sights. The location was perfect for both the old port and the art district. The room was beautiful and welcoming but was even better was the beautiful view of the bay. We loved waking up to the beautiful view. Parking was easy and the hotel was comfortable."

"Such a great, different, non-hotel feeling option to stumble upon when I was in Portland, Maine. GREAT location. Feels much more boutique hotel like, quaint, way more appeal than a big "chain" hotel. I would want to book for more than a week to be able to use kitchen and flexibility of apartment-like feel."

"The Inn at St. John’s was welcoming and everything was clean though a bit run down. Our bathroom was across the hall which we found interesting. The day we arrived was unusually hot and the room was very warm. We notified an employee who pushed some buttons on the AC and said it was working. The second employee, who we called later, agreed the AC was not working but said he couldn’t do anything. We barely slept in an 83 degree room. When we checked out, we asked for compensation and were told...
