"Cabins were clean and tidy on arrival, the staff were also super helpful, probably the best service we received in Thailand. The cafe on the beachfront was really nice, proper tasty food and drinks. Great location, 5 minute walk to Walking street and right on the beach. When we booked this initially our thought was ‘how bad can it be without AC’ for a few nights. For us, it was a bit unbearable, really struggled to sleep while we were here, I can’t hold that against Castaways as we knew before we booked but it’s something you need to consider. On the final day there was a whole bunch of ants that had invaded toilet and I woke up covered in bites that weren’t from mosquitos, not sure what they were but wasn’t very nice. After noticing the bites we took the bed covers up to check for bed bugs and it was kinda gross, not sure how often they change the mattress topper sheet underneath. "

"We only booked one night, but bathroom smelled like sewage unfortunately. Though they were so helpfull with everything and we didnt go to them to solve it because it was just one night. Great for diving combi because its right at the beach!"
