"Absolutely beautiful resort, just a few minutes from central Ubud. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Fantastic breakfast and afternoon tea included in stay. Pool was great. The aesthetic of the whole place was superb.
Only one minor issue - despite choosing to “pay at the property” when booking on Expedia, and having a booking confirmation that specifically said payment would be due “on arrival,” Udaya tried to charge my credit card five days in advance. My credit card company declined the charge, at which point Udaya insisted I pay using their payment link. Having had my CC info stolen on a prior trip, I did not want to do this. They eventually relented, but only after several days of back and forth. They and Expedia need to clarify the policy.
But don’t let that stop you from staying here — Udaya is a great find!"
