We simply loved the Hotel Nascar. Laura greeted us when we arrived and looked after us throughout our stay, even when we had some hire car issues! The room we stayed in was beautiful with local supplies it was spacious and we were impressed with the history of the building. The restaurant has an excellent choice of fresh fish and local food so we needed up eating there for most of our stay. It’s also located close to the beach and a short walk for boat trips to Cala Luna. Definitely worth staying here if you’re in Sardinia.

Not only was the food excellent, but the service here was superb, which more than made up for some features that this small, sustainable hotel did not offer. The owner/operator arranged for a dinner reservation (and much appreciated transfer) at a mountaintop agriturismo high above Baunei. Thank you, Nascar Hotel staff!

Wished we could've stayed longer

A great 3 night stay at the Nascar Hotel - we only wished it was longer. Beautiful room with private terrace. Fantastic service - Laura the concierge really goes above and beyond. Great breakfast including eggs made to order. Close to a stunning beach where guests of the hotel have free use of the sun loungers. Santa Maria Navaresse is a great base if you want to explore the area either by boat or hiking. Highly recommend this lovely little hotel.

Professionally Run Hotel

Has such a great time at Nascar hotel and the lovely village of Santa Maria Navarrese. The hotel is very close to a beautiful beach where the hotel also provides you with deckchairs and an umbrella. Breakfasts consists of a big selection of fruits, bread, pastries, fresh juices and cheeses. Add on top of that freshley cooked eggs and omlettes, run by very professional and friendly staff. Spotless and clean rooms. Highly recommended if in the area.

Very friendly family owned property. Were very helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area. Breakfast was EXCELLENT.... I am lactose intolerant and was very happy to see other dairy options on the menu and also vegan croissants which I have not been able to enjoy for many years. Nothing was a problem at this hotel. Would absolutely recommend to anyone (maybe not for families with small children)

The Nascar Hotel is a special place to stay. The location is excellent, only a few steps to the beach and restaurants. And the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Perfect honeymoon destination

This was so much more than a hotel, it was a beautiful historic slice of this town. The building is beautifully kept and charming, remodeled to feature characteristic wood and decor of the region. The staff was exceptionally kind and went out of their way to help us navigate the local attractions, and book a fantastic boat tour we’ll never forget. Breakfast each morning was off the charts delicious with home grown fruits and veggies, their own homemade goat cheese and yogurts, pastries, and more. Freshly squeezed juices. All in the house. And since this was our honeymoon trip, I was very happy to also find that the bed was a true king, Not two twins pushed together. Everywhere else we’ve been in Europe has had a divided mattress. I’d highly recommend and stay again anytime!

Gem in the heart of Santa Maria Navaresse, Baunei

Excellent stay at this charming hotel, which is perfectly located in the best part of Santa Maria Navaresse, with a private beach and ideally situated for Baunei adventures. The restaurant is also very nice. The owners Stefania & Claudia are incredibly helpful and friendly, August is the busiest time of year and yet they always made time for us and gave us incredible recommendations, often times helping schedule both restaurant reservations and activities. On our last day Stefania kindly arranged a boat ride with Patric who partners with the hotel and it was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Stefania & Claudia and Patric the wonderful staff at Nascar. We left feeling like we made some wonderful new friends. Hope to see you another time soon!

Top Boutique hotel ideal for the area
