Such an elegant historical stay. Host was very friendly and informative. We had a lovely balcony room with views of the beautiful cathedral. Breakfast includes super fresh croissants, pastries, yogurt and fresh fruits. All served in an intimate dining room. Great location to visit all of the historical D-day sites.

We had the room on the top floor that gave us a panoramic view of the city, especially the cathedral. Our host Colleen was exceptionally helpful and gave us great service.

Quaint stay in Bayeux

Quaint house with nice staff. Room was great. Limited checking time 5-8pm with no one there prior to drop luggage. Breakfast starting at 8 don’t work for our tours that started around that time.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean but looking a little tired. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast. Location was very good close to the centre of Bayeux.

No heat, wrong phone number

No heat in room and temp was 48 degrees the night of our stay. We heard other guests complain of no heat. The phone number on the hotels hotels.com page is wrong. When told the next morning about the heat and wrong number there was absolutely no response.

It was a very unique guest house and the ladies who ran it were amazing. Breakfast was lovely and the place was very clean. Our room was spacious and beautiful. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a perfect place to visit the Normandy region. Very walkable location. Clean, comfortable, well equipped rooms and kind, helpful hosts. The breakfast is well worth it. We were full until dinner.

We loved how close this property was to the cathedral and to restaurants etc. It was a cute and convenient place to stay. Would recommend!

The property was a bed and breakfast and the room and place were very nice. Walkable to restaurants, museums and train station. All very good. What was not so good was check in and check out. On their website they indicate you can make arrangements if you can't make the 5-8 PM check-in. We contacted them via email months in advance and they said email them the day before and we could make luggage drop off arrangements. We did that and they said that was not possible. We were arriving at 1 PM and what were we suppose to do, drag our luggage around for 4 hours until check in. Their suggestion was to leave our luggage outside the building where anyone could just take it, a definite non starter for us. I was finally able to talk to someone on the morning of our arrival to their property and they said they would give us a code to enter the property. What they should have done the day before when we asked for the early drop off of our luggage. Check out was a bit better, however although the website says you can check out at 11 am, they wanted us out by 10:30 at the latest. And no you cannot leave your luggage in the B&B. So if you don't mind living by rules regarding check in and check out that can change on the drop of a dime, this is your place.

Little service and creepy sheets.

Very hard to get access to the guest house, or from rooms into central area. Sheets had two small blood stains on them upon my arrival; were not changed over the following three days. Caffetiere did not work and no response to my reporting the same. Good location, but I did not feel that the disclosure was adequate and respective absence of service, and thought that the service issues above were frankly quite disappointing.

This is a cute historic house that has been remodeled as a boutique hotel. Our room was small, but adequate. Everything was neat and clean. I want to mention that it does not have air conditioning or access to a refrigerator. The week before we came the weather had been quite warm and it might have been uncomfortable. However, the week we were there the weather was very comfortable. It is conveniently located close to many restaurants and the important tourist attractions.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. It was big which was good. The room was really warm though and I didn’t feel safe leaving the windows open on the first floor. It would have been better if there were some fans downstairs. Walking distance to everything though which was convenient.

Fantastic small hotel near the center of town and convenient for everything. The only thing I would mention is to be aware that checking in is only from 5pm until 8pm. No one on the premises at other times.

A lovely property! About a 10-minute walk to the train station in one direction and about 5 minutes to town in the other. Room was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to sit on the balcony in the evening. Two considerations: Check-in time starts at 5:00 pm, so if you arrive to Bayeux early, there is no convenient place to store luggage. We arrived around 1:00 pm, so consider this in your schedule. The other is that breakfast is very simple with no hot food options. But the croissants were amazing! One complaint: when our room was serviced, the toilet paper was not restocked, so we had to go out and buy our own. The roll was very low when we checked in. There is no 24-hour clerk, as we were told that she leaves around 7 - 8 pm. We assumed we would get a fresh roll in the morning, but we didn’t. Overall, we would stay again. It was a nice change from a regular hotel.

The perfect B&B!

This is an awesome B&B. The room was perfect, comfortable and roomy, with a nice deck and great view of the cathedral. The breakfast was amazing with good company and food and wonderful service. Easy and inexpensive parking, as well as convenient walking to sights, food, restaurants and entertainment make this the perfect location in Bayeux and the city is a perfect location for access to the best Normandy sights.
