"Room was very warm because the air conditioner was not working and I asked the maintenance staff if they could just open my window because it was too heavy for me to lift and no one ever showed up. Other than that concierge was wonderful and I just love the location."
"The room was bigger than I was expecting for NYC. The vents could have used some dusting, but overall the room was clean. The staff at the front desk and parking were all very nice and helpful. The only comment I have is we did not have enough towels & wash rags in our room. On the way out to get dinner one night, my husband stopped at the front desk and asked them if we could have more delivered to our room but to please DO NOT enter the room as me and my children were in there alone. The lady on the phone repeatedly told whomever was on the phone not to enter the room and to leave them outside the door. While getting out of the shower, I heard a knock. I didn’t answer it but saw who was outside, figuring they’d leave them outside the door. Next thing I know the guy OPENED the door to my room. I yelled out to please leave them on the floor and to close the door. He did so, but did not follow a simple, but very important request. "
"Clean and very friendly staff, everyone was so nice. When you walk in there’s a Starbucks in the corner and lobby is beautiful. Would not stay again because the rooms are old and outdated. No microwave in any room, what’s so ever. Brought some pizza back and couldn’t eat it. Very old tv, it looks like a microwave. We got put in the wrong room but didn’t complain because we didn’t really mind even though the bed was smaller then what we paid for. Dock parking- 4day parking with hotel discount, $180 total."
"The deposit upon check in is 500 dollars, which is fine because it’s returned but I feel this should be noted. Property charges 35 dollars per day mandatory, but they do allow you to use it in the cafe which I guess is nice. You’re basically forced to spend money there daily. The hotel is beautiful and clean, rooms are a great size for New York, beds are very comfy, and the bathrooms are stunning. Our mini fridge was broken and our curtains did not close all the way allowing a room full of light from Times Square the first night. They did fix these issues and gave us a room credit for the inconvenience. Most of the staff members were courteous and helpful. The noise from Times Square if you are on the lower floors is definitely noticeable, we slept fine but if you are a light sleeper I would def suggest getting a higher floor. Overall it is a beautiful hotel and great view, area, and size for the price point. "
