"What a terrific find! This beautiful hotel brought back an elegance reminiscent of an earlier time. Renovated to resemble the time period of the 20's and onwards, the furnishings are exquisite. The clean and spacious room was very nostalgic too. We so enjoyed our stay and walking around this amazing hotel."

"The experience of staying on the square in Arcata is so fun but only stay if you go in expecting a lot of noise and partying. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. It's great to walk out to the market on Saturday morning and the 2:00 a.m. noise is a lot but it's a great place to stay."

"The floors were really dirty and sandy and the air conditioner didn't work but luckily it wasn't needed too much during the night. Overall not terrible. I'd still recommend it for an overnight stay."

"We ended up staying here after our other accommodation fell through. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the mattress was. Things are well kept, you can see that the building and original design are a bit dated but that wasn’t a bother for us. The location is great and close to restaurants, shopping centers, sites to see and whatever else you’d need. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic! There were so many options available. There are two hot tubs on property. The outdoor tub was out of order however the indoor one was open! No complaints. The pool seemed to be warmed and I love that it’s half indoor and half outdoor. We would definitely stay again!"
