"One of the best cottages in the Rustico/ Cavendish area! The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the cottage is spacious with beautiful views. Nice that there's a playground and beautiful path to the water and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet. "

"From the moment we arrived, we felt we were at a magical hotel that was so warm and cozy. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our room was really nice and we enjoyed staying there. The room had dishware to use and you get a daily refresh. (No seafood allowed.) Breakfast is in a very cozy dining room. We would have preferred it open earlier but it is worth waiting for. "Very nice little motel. Easy walk to nearby restaurants and services. Very nice walk along the rail trail to downtown Summerside. Staff were very pleasant and it was great having laundry on site."

"Bare bones"

"We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...

"This is the most disgusting hotel we have ever stayed in. The first room stunk of fecal matter and the lock didn’t work so we had to change rooms. The second room was filthy. The sink was full of multiple hairs both long and from someone shaving, the smell was awful, there was a pigeon nest on the window sill and they made noise all night. There was a wad of caulking the size of a softball near the tub that they tried to hide with the garbage bin. The floors left my socks brown from the dirt....
