"We have stayed at Laguna Beach House a few times over the years due to its location and price. We will not be staying here again as their management has changed to a nickel/dime hidden cost operation. First off was the $60/night parking fee during checkin. We elected to park elsewhere. Then at checkout we had a $39 charge added for the evening happy hour drinks which we did not participate in. This was not disclosed to us at checkin. Fortunately, after some debate, the reception desk...

"I liked that there was ample parking (2 lots). The rooms were spacious, excellent a/c unit as it’s humid by the beach, great location w beach across street, huge light-controlled mirror above the bathroom sink, comfy bed & pillows. I liked having to use a code for the door instead of a card key. Room and elevator was big enough for our 2 e-bikes! Rooms can be cleaned daily, but we were only there 3 days and didn’t need it. Extra linens were available in a cubby/closet area next to the lobby...

"There are several choices along PCH but this one I prefer bec of the location. You don't have to walk over the train tracks via the bridge to get to the beach. The price is great. The bottom floor has a patio with a little chimney plus there are fire pits on the property. The bed trippede out literally because it's in the middle of the room. I was there for the views and not to spend hours in the room so the patio was perfect! That's the only thing I'd change. I did have to have them change the...
