"Staff was so nice and accommodating. We had a room that was hot and a portable cooler which was very good. They found us a room with an A/C, which was very nice of them to do."

"Beach view was extremely beautiful. On the beach. Restaurant was great! Location was great. Property was run down but the sea takes it toll. Food n drinks were great and prices were high like Las Vegas strip hotels. All n all ,, we will be back for sure!! The vibe was great, the waves were 6’-10’ that was perfect for surfing. The rip tide was nuts!!! We have been going to HB Hyatt for 15 years, but due to their $910 a nite price This was the first time in years we strained, sure glad we did. Looking forward to comeback!! Sunset was awesome, dinner was 10/10. All the food was spot on. Just pricey … Totally recommend this place, probably would not bring kids here though. More for a couple get away!!"

"Clean, comfortable room. Love the modern decor! Very comfortable bed. Loved having a microwave and fridge in my room -- very useful. Easy parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeepers did a good job. Stairwells could be cleaner (had a little trash debris). In-room AC was kind of loud and not that effective at cooling my room, but it wasn't a big problem overall."

"All of the staff were wonderful, helpful and very nice. Great location by the beach. Good for the price but not as clean as I would like, not sure if it’s just because it’s an older building or something else. Check in and out was easy. They did have a small store in the lobby but the prices were outrageous, $8 for a water bottle and $8 for an ice cream sandwich that was partially melted… Parking being $25 a day is also outrageous. Breakfast buffet was nice and so was the attendant he was keeping everything clean and full while greeting and chatting with hotel guest. I do wish the buffet was a little longer even by an hour. Also keep in mind the hotel is on the highway so you will hear cars all night. All in all the hotel was okay for the price, the friendly staff really saves the hotel."

"The location of this hotel can not be beat. It is convenient to whale-watching cruises, farmers' markets, restaurants, museums, trolleys, walking trails and beaches. It is an older hotel and shows its age. It will be demolished soon, so I now understand why there have not been any updates. The whole marina is being redone. Stay here while the prices are reasonable because it may be out of your price range after. The staff was friendly, and the free breakfast was basic. The pool was well used. $15 parking each night is not a bad price."
