"Lovely individual studio room (221) in a quiet location, with ground floor balcony. On arrival was taken to my room by golf cart with a little tour of facilities on the way - great idea. Room had everything I needed - especially kettle/ fridge. Beds were comfy. Bathroom had over the bath shower and toiletries/ towels were plentiful. Pleased to find separate beach / pool towels provided. Individually controlled air-conditioning that could be switched to heating if chilly. Had good nights sleep...

We also travelled out of season in April so A La Carte restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was very cold! Our room was spacious, clean and easy to access on level 1. Took a while each day for house keeping to clean our room (sometimes 5pm) so not always easy to go back to the room to relax in the afternoon if it wasn’t done. Buffet style food everyday, although fresh and nicely presented...

"⭐ 1/5 – Very Disappointing Stay My experience at Venus Beach Hotel was extremely unpleasant. A staff member named Sofia spoke to me rudely at breakfast when I politely asked where the cutlery was. She told me I “cannot sit over that side” and then publicly commented that I needed to “dress properly,” even though I had a blouse over my bikini and was never told about any dress code. I would have happily abided by any dress code. It was humiliating and made me uncomfortable returning to breakfast...

"The apartment smelt lovely and the staff on site were very kind. The chef was a bit iffy so I chose not to eat there. The food options were minimal too. My apartment had cockroaches and ants. I wanted to make a cup of tea but when I looked inside the kettles, I was mortified. When it came to checking out, there was no one at reception and the cleaners didn’t know where the receptionist was either. I had to hide my key on the desk and hope she sees it. The sauna was a selling point for me however...
