"Service during arrival was terrible, no one helped us with the luggage even though there are 8 of us including a child. We asked the lobby personnel twice but they simply said its not their job. In the end we have to carry all luggages to our room by ourselves. We booked 4 rooms at the hotel and all of the AC does not work, the technician came to try to fix it but he was not able to. "This is our second time in Montreux and we always stayed at Eurotel. And this time on our child 17th Birthday. We love the view and the location. The free flow welcome drink and popcorn always made us happy. Also the breakfast superb!! Staff very helpful, she arrange our rooms close to each other. Surely will come back again.. "Its a very traditional, older chalet and amenities are in line with older style places. The staff were faultless, helpful, courteous and tolerant of our coming and going. Its a hike to get there but the free railway, if you have the time, saves on cab fares. Food is fresh and its very popular for dinner with everyone in town and the views are terrific.. Thanks especially to Tebo for looking after us but they were all great. "

"I had a lovely and very restful stay at the chalet. The location has beautiful mountain views and is near to cable cars if you want to go higher up. "The room that we booked was looking over a court yard. Wrong it overlooked a junk yard and onto the grotty balconies of the neighboring building. The room was small and heated up quickly to the point it became unbearable. Reception was a cheerful person, but played dumb when you asked about various things, no kindness! I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone."

"Absolutely amazing location. 5 minutes walk from the station and lake Geneva is around the corner. Great base to explore Montreux on public transport as well using the montreux riviera card. Staff spoke good English and property was kept in great condition. Only downside was that the rooms didn’t have AC, but the windows opened very wide and a fan was provided so the summer heat was not a problem."
