"This was a great location to get to old town using their free shuttle service they offer guests and it was steps down to the great beaches. This is a great hotel and recommend it to families with children as we had 3 children under 10 and they loved it all. The free breakfast was exceptional and took advantage of it every morning. We loved the pool and took advantage of a massage at their spa. Martina was an amazing Masseuse! I would go again and stay here! Only downside to it is there is another hotel being constructed right in front of it that will eventually take away from the view and there was construction during the day all day. We were not in the hotel during the day so it didn't affect us much. Just waking up to it and hearing it when we got back wasn't the best to experience."

"The place was exactly as it looked on the pictures. Our aim was to relax with a view and that is what we did. The rooms were all nice, air conditioned and the dishwasher and washing machine a good addition. There are a number of good restaurants nearby - but quite a few steps to get there and back. We are glad we located here instead of nearer Split, as that was busy and loud! So we could go there some evenings to sightsee but then get away from it all. Ubers were good and cheap - don’t use the taxis - you will regret it. Also, it’s cheaper to get dropped off outside the centre zone - so check when you order it’s around €6. We didn’t have to buy water as the quality was so good - bonus, but there is a small shop about 5-10 mins walk away. They also arranged transport from and to the airport- which saved us the hassle and was much appreciated. We are fussy, but would definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to visit Split."

"Great location and spa facilities. Hotel is very clean and the rooms (Delux) are very spacious. Delux rooms also have an additional toilet. We had to request to get our room cleaned after 3 days of no cleaning! Other hotel guests had left their room service dishes, with leftover food in the hallway. It remained there overnight and most of the next day! We did request for the plates to be taken away. Ask for coffee pods to be restocked during a room clean as they do not always do this. The best rooms in Amphora Gardens are on the front east side of the building as you have an amazing view of the sea. For promenade views, ask for a room on the far west side of the building.Ground floor rooms have no views. The hotel is overlooked by Amphora hotel. Downstairs pool was very cold during mid June, however you can easily pop into the heated indoor pool. Rooftop pool is warmer however it would imagine that it gets very warm on the rooftop sun bathing area during high season. The spa facilities are excellent. One of the best hotel spas that i have ever visited. The hotel was very quiet during mid June - that was perfect for us. The beach bars and beach area across the road are excellent! Great facilities and very very clean!"
