"The room was clean, staff ok but the $40 I spent on a long bath was horrible. Staff was loud and sprayed me while cleaning the tub next door. There was a problem client that was in and out of her tub due to heat. She should have left. I have been many times prior without a bad experience. This was definitely a bad experience. Don’t know that I will ever return."

"As always, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. It was originally built by the railroad in the early 1900s to house railroad employees, and recently was very tastefully remodeled and updated. The staff are kind and helpful, the food is good, and they have a nice selection of beer and wine. They do have a single refrigerator for guests in the lobby, but it's small and if the hotel is busy it might be insufficient. I personally would like to see the same size refrigerator in each room, but...

Expedia also did not provide my number for them to contact me. He charged my card without contacting me. Despite this the stay was good. "

Overall, this pace is still to out liking despite lack of the woodburning for our place, the resort fee and more recently the parking fee. In this particular case, the checkout staff was rude. "First time stay here and was pleasantly surprised at how the interior is not what you would expect from the exterior. It is every bit as nice as a similar resort in the area and a lot less expensive for a room. It makes up for a lesser view with the amenities and beautiful grounds. The dinner in the dining room was very tasty and reasonably priced. The room was good sized and comfortable. We did pay for spa services, and although they are a bit pricey the staff was great."
