"So, we booked this about an hour ahead of being there. When we showed up, the office was closed. There was a sign on the door addressed to another guest and a phone number on the closed sign. Called the number and the owner of the property answered and apologized that he did not see the reservation come in and was away from the property. He asked us to wait 30 minutes so he could return to check us in. It got mostly better from there. Check in was pleasant and the owner was very apologetic...

"There aren’t a lot of hotel options so I found myself here, and the value of what I paid was pretty lacking. This hotel was fairly subpar for a BW Plus. What matter is the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is walkable to Uptown Kingston. I didn’t like that my one window was interior facing to this weird natatorium courtyard, where the pool and gym were. It smelled like chlorine.
