"I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."

The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. We received three bath towels but no hand towel, no washcloth, no bath mat. There was no desk and no table. "Great location for an overnight stop on a long drive. Large clean room and a comfortable bed. If arriving late (we arrived about 10pm) make sure to message in advance as they will send details on how to get in to the hotel once reception closes. Very easy process!"

"Menu pt dej à la française: pain beurre croissant frais confiture, pas d’œuf ou de jambon malheureusement. Chambre mignonne avec salle de bain fonctionnelle, attention la literie est vraiment vieillotte avec matelas à ressort qui plonge au centre… Environnement joli comme tout, cependant le concert incessant de corbeaux n’est pas forcément du goût de tous. Parking sur place, gratuit, mais pas de prise de recharge électrique."
