"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

"The girl at the front desk was so kind and understanding about all of our requests. The pool was the cleanest pool I've seen at a hotel in a long time. Beds were comfortable and AC really cold. Great place to stay!"

"The hotel was nice, full kitchen and quiet large for our family of four. We had a one bedroom suite, tucked into a corner of the hotel. Location was quiet, on the main floor. Pool and hot tub were nice. The sofa bed was not comfortable, at all. It would be worth the hotel replacing the sofa bed, as we could not sleep well at all and that is an important consideration for returning! One interesting thing that has nothing to do with the staff is that most of the other guests were older...

"My stay was great. There were a couple of problems with my room which were quickly fixed. Steve who is one of the front desk clerks is wonderful. He went above and beyond. Breakfast was wonderful. Coffee just needs to be a little stronger..."

"Honestly, this place should close for renovations. It's a mess. • 1 working elevator for a 12-floor hotel. The elevator is used by staff (and their equipment) and guests. Elevator wait times were 10+ minutes. Watched a delivery guy? guest? employee? get on the elevator with a large e-bike. "If you just need a place to sleep after a Tanglewood performance, it is very convenient and the price is right. It is very “tired” though."
