"Anna greeted us upon arrival and not only checked us in, but walked us to our room. The property is wonderful, clean, well attended and in a perfect location. Staff are always available and smiling. "The hotel and grounds are beautiful and furnishings were suited to the era of when it was built. The breakfast was excellent and included with our stay. There is only one option for dinner and it was pricey. There is no wi-fi in the room, only the area near the bar. The TV in the room only has Portuguese channels. It would have been nice to have music playing in the bar/lounge."

"Before I review the hotel proper let me just say Lamego is a really cool town and this hotel is an upscale place from which to explore it. The staff were excellent.
