"Our family group of five (across three rooms) had an exceptional stay at Babohi at Qwabi. The safari experience exceeded every expectation, giving us close encounters with many animals. We enjoyed a sundowner with Rhinos walking around us, and woke up to Lions roaring in the early morning, moments we'll never forget. "The reserve was stunning. Saw plenty of wildlife despite relatively low game density. The food was great considering the size of the buffet. The property was nice but maybe too modern for a true safari experience. I was most disappointed that it wasn’t as family friendly as advertised. The child center was under construction, the pools were not heated, there were no activities for young children nor was there food catered towards young children. "

"The idea of the place is really nice. The upkeep and the overall state of the estate could be better. We were in chalet 16, where the bathroom has a strong odor and the sink is leaking. Chalet 17 & 18 were unfinished and full with burned waste, which made chalet 16 feel a bit unsafe. The zebra’s around the chalet was great, the kids loved it. You had to bring your own towels, for a place being just as expensive as a 4-star hotel, it did not live up to the expectations."

"We were always greeted respectfully and always had great service. The lodge owners were also present during our stay and they are very nice. All the meals were wonderful, and the game drives were excellent, this lodge give you something to eat and drink on the game drive while you are able to see the wildlife. "

"This is the most beautiful stay I’ve experienced. The location is secluded from the main lodge so you feel the extra peace and quiet. That staff are incredibly helpful and friendy. The food? Chef Johannes deserves his flowers, it was incredible. I highly recommend and will definitely be back"
