"The staff at Castillo Rojo was super helpful and friendly - really great service orientation. The hotel was charming and the inner patio was a cool place to wind down after traveling that day. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was good, nestled in a colorful neighborhood with many eateries and near the base of Cerro San Cristobal (a must-visit in Santiago). "The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast is always delivered the day before, which is a great option for those planning very early tours or activities. The reception staff were always very attentive and helpful. The neighborhood is not one of the safest, but the hotel is well located and offers easy access to several tourist attractions."
