I was particularly impressed with Kalvin, who single-handedly served a packed dining area/front of house and kept all the self-serve areas stocked, all of this while keeping his sense of humour and very friendly demeanor. The man is a super star of service.

Very nice king executive room with a couch and 2 chairs. Very comfortable bed. Nice and quiet. Very good breakfast selection.

Really nice experience at the check-in counter as all the staff were super helpful and friendly. One highlight of the stay is the breakfast. It's very good. And the fellow that was looking after the breakfast was fantastic. Very hard worker and kept everything full and clean. Kudos to him for the excellent job he did.

Hotel itself was clean and well appointed. Front desk staff and concierge/security staff were very friendly and helpful. Many street people wandering about near and on the property so it felt unsafe to leave anything in the car, let alone anything valuable so had to unpack a fully packed car into my room. The concierge was great in helping me to my room with all my things (2 full carts). Man in breakfast area the next morning a bit snippy - I asked how long before an item might be available (wondering if it would take 5 mins or half an hour) and he said it'll be a while and when I said how long is a while he said it'll be put out when it's done. Quite dismissive.

Thank you for staying at La Quinta Inn & Suites Bellingham! Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the homeless but we do have security who routinely sends them away from the property. Security patrols the parking lot every 30 minutes. I do apologize if the breakfast attendant was a bit flustered on the busiest morning of last week when his help had called in sick. Again thank you for choosing La Quinta Inn & Suites Bellingham.

I would definitely stay there again, it was quiet, the breakfast had a lot of options and it’s included, we went to the pool and there was no one in there, which was really nice! There’s a grocery store right beside the hotel and the mall is really close by. The hotel staff were really friendly, the only critique I have is that I wasn’t able to use the wifi in my room and I don’t use my cellphone/data when I’m in the states. The hotel staff weren’t really able to help with that, which was a bit unfortunate. Overall it was a nice place to stay. 🙂

The stay was nice Great customer service. The soaps and lotion very nice. The bathtub had a lot of scratches with rust showing and a lot of homeless/shady people outside in the area. But did feel safe in the building

This hotel is in a good location - right next to Fred Meyer and across the street from Costco. It was clean, although our room was not serviced during our stay (only a few new towels dropped off). Breakfast was good, lots of options. One major disappointment was that the wifi was not working properly - it would connect and disconnect constantly. We asked the front desk about this, to which they said they would reset the modem on the 3rd floor to see if that helped. I don’t know if they tried to fix it at all, as the wifi did not work for our entire stay. Many other reviews dating back years document wifi issues, with the hotel seeming to give a different excuse every time.

We apologize for any inconvenience with the wifi. The issues you referenced from years ago have been resolved by our IT specialist. Since that fix any guests that have problems with wifi is usually due to the device being logged into the wrong network. We do apologize for any inconvenience to you.

We stayed 2 nights; location was convenient off the highway. The. New Costco was next door and our room was across from Starbucks. The check in and staff was amazing. Breakfast was good. The swimming pool needs updating. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

The staff were great the only thing that wasn't good was the hot tub was broken. A minor thing. Other then that it would have been 5 instead of 4. The breakfast in the morning had a wide selection of options.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were clean but the beds/pillows were fairly bumpy and uncomfortable. Had a good assortment for breakfast (waffles, toast, muffins, eggs, hash browns, yogurt, cereal etc. coffee and tea avail throughout the day. Unfortunately the day we arrived the hot tub was down for a week, which was one reason we were staying there.
