"The Sleeping Giant is a real gem and in itself a reason to head to Belize and spend a week at this beautiful resort south of Belmopan. The grounds and the interior design of the cottages and the house we rented are the best I’ve enjoyed in many years of travel and the staff is A plus. The restaurant with its open air and indoor dining is really good and there is not an amenity that is overlooked in this perfect place! Thanks to all at the ‘Sleeping Giant’!"

"What an amazing hotel & room. This is one of our favorites of all time. We stayed for 3 nights
Food: Every meal was fantastic as we ate breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. The fry jacks at breakfast were superb. The prices were reasonable for the meal we ate. The selection changed at each meal. Even our picky eater was very happy. Highly recommend the cheese tasting which you will need to reserve in advance. We lucked out and were able to join due to a cancellation.

"Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about...
