From the outside this hotel looks wonderful, inside it is very dated and drab. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and nice.

Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. It is called BB Hotel and Leisure Centre but the pool and sauna etc has been closed since Covid and the gym had limited hours. I feel the name of the hotel does not fit the facilities provided.

Lovely picturesque setting and very convenient. Our room was spacious but the bed was very uncomfortable - hard and lumpy as were the pillows. I think it’s probably due for a refurbishment. The breakfast was ok but not good for celiac or vegetarians. The spa was also closed for refurbishment.

Great location, walkable distance to Belmullet. We had a really lovely meal in the restaurant - staff were lovely. The room had a great view but was let down by a few things: the toilet didn’t flush, the light above the sink didn’t work and I wasn’t able to remove the rubber plug to release the bath water. Also, the fire alarm went off briefly during the night. Not major issues but spoiled what could have been a great stay. Also, when reported to the receptionist when checking out, she didn’t appear too concerned.

Needs a huge remodel

The hotel needs a refresh. It’s 20 years old and I think our mattress was an original. There was no air conditioning and no fans. There was dust on the shelves in the closet area. Also dust on the ironing board and the shelf that the iron sat on.

I got no sleep at all due to people roaring and running around the place in the early hours of the morning. Also you should get your checkout time changed as the up house lady knocked on our door roaring saying checkout is 11 that we need to leave. So I think you need to amend that on your site as you have 12 noon

I feel that the handicapped rooms with walk in showers were too far always from the entrance. Chances are if you’re handicapped you have a problem walking. I requested a room close to the check in desk because of mobility issues and i was quite far away.No close rooms were handicap accessible..

A lovely experience. The Rooms were perfect ( we had a family room ) The breakfast was delicous with as much as you wanted to eat. The bar was as you would expect - welcoming. The staff were absolutley fantastic and couldnt do enough for you. Lots of car parking space As for the location - just beautiful
