"The room was clean, however the first weekend we stayed before going to Santorini we didn’t have air conditioning which sucked. But when we came back the air conditioning was working and the second stay was much more enjoyable. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. "We stayed two nights prior to joining a cruise. We came in on a ferry and this location is excellent for both types of travel. It was an easy 15 minute walk from the sea jet ferry to the hotel and we decided to taxi to the cruise ship back at a cost of €20. The breakfast is fresh and choices are great. The cost is very reasonable (if not included) and there is a coffee machine (does lattes, espresso and cappuccinos etc) as well as a selection of tea available 24 hours off the lobby. The rooms are modern and very clean. The only concern would be if a person has a mobility issue make sure you know your room. Our room had a step up to the beds in the entrance and you need to step up from the bed area to get to the washroom. The area is close to some excellent restaurants and shops. We took the metro for €1.20 each way pp to the Plaka/Acropolis. Very easy and direct 20-25 min. I would recommend staying at this property. The staff is friendly and very helpful. "

There are a group of young people at the front desk that in my opinion deserve recognition for their professionalism and courteous attitudes, these young men and women made our stay at Mitsis's a memorable experience. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of a fresh drink. During our 2 day stay Maria,Fenia, Aris and kirillos, treated my family and i as if we were part of their family. While trying to brush my teeth one night, i accidentally plugged my electric dental cleaner in without the voltage transformer and cause the power to go out in our room. Aris quickly relocated us to another room an reassure me that everything was going to be ok. When i return to Piraeus, i will most definitely stay at Mitsis."
