A lovely stay
We spent one night here and it was a lovely experience. The check in was quick. The room clean and tidy. The grounds were well kept and tastefully decorated. I wish we had stayed longer

Mysigt Grotthotell utanför en by, tog 10-15 minuter att gå dit. Restaurangen på hotellet var stängd men de var mycket hjälpsamma och gav bra tips på middag och frukost. Vi hade rum med brasa, köpte ved och eldade både på kvällen och morgonen, mysigt. Men egentligen behövdes det inte, det var varmt ändå. Härligt ställe! Tyvärr var det dåligt med varmvatten eftersom de fick via sol och bioenergi men det var ok för oss.

Very happy stay in a cave
We loved this place and its odd-shaped rooms built into hillsides. We received a very warm welcome at reception and were given lots of advice about things to do whilst we were in the area. We ate well in the on-site restaurant and had everything we needed to make our short stay a happy one. The resort also makes it very easy to recycle.

Buenas intenciones pero...
Estábamos de paso por allí así que necesitábamos un hotel para descansar una noche. La ubicación hacía el autovía no está mal. La recepción muy amable. Interiores de la habitación un poco viejita pero limpia. Lo que nos molestó más era el olor del baño, aunque abrimos la ventana para airear, era tan denso y desagradable que tuvimos que evitar usar el baño si no era imprescindible. Cómo no hay posibilidad de cancelar una reserva tuvimos que aguantar hasta el amanecer. Quizá sería mejor, (al menos sin coste) pasar la noche dentro del coche

Un très beau complexe!
Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce complexe très agréable. L’appartement était très confortable, bien décoré et fonctionnel. A notre arrivée, on nous a suggéré quelques balades, qui se sont révélées très intéressantes.

High Point of Spain Trip
Couldn’t have asked for more. Spacious cave apartment with full kitchen. Onsite restaurant was top notch: gourmet yet reasonably priced. During Efren’s check-in process he enthusiastically and thoroughly explained not only the hotel amenities but gave maps and internet guidance of local attractions. This is a great base to stay at while visiting stupendous rock formations, dolmen archeology, natural aqueducts, Guadix historic cave village, Granada and Cordoba all close by.

Charmingly funky place with great hosts.
Really cool “caves,” which are vibrantly painted and interesting apartments. Super comfortable and clean and super nice staff. Out at the end of the village where the fields begin. I enjoyed my stay and the hosts were lovely.

A must to stay here.
Silvia is an awesome host. She spent the time to explain the local area and outlining that fact she was born in a cave and understood what it was like to stay in one. She then showed us excited places in the local area to go the next day and also reinforced ideas for the Alhambra palace visit we did. She cut half an hour off the trip which was great.

Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist etwas Besonderes; gute Verbindung mit dem eignen Pkw nach Granada.

Lovely boutique hotel with mountain view
Efrén was AMAZING, he made our day a lot better and gave us so many tips!! The hotel was spectacular and definitely a trip not to be missed! Just one thing, the room dos get a little hot at night so expect to be sleeping without any sheets!!

Superb and unique place to stay in an epic area
A really epic place to stay. Guadix is such a stunning place to visit. So cute and unique. The welcome from Sylvia was superb and we really enjoyed our stay. Restaurant was great too. Only problem was we did not have enough time in the area - we will definitely be back soon :-)

Grotwoningen zijn heerlijk in de zomer maar iets te koud in voorseizoen. Dorpje zelf stelt niks voor en zwembad was beetje klein en aan vieze kant. Voor decreet ales top.

Coolest hotel ever!
Coolest hotel I ever stayed at! We stayed in apartment No.5 with three bedrooms and a good sized kitchen/living area. Two bathrooms, one on-suite, we were five people staying but the apartment will hold six without problem. All appliances you will ever need and large fridge/freezer. Working fireplace for cold nights and a very accommodating manager that fixes wood for you to burn in the fireplace  The manager also took her time to show what to do in the area and showed a genuine interest to make our stay as good as possible. Was in the area as my daughter was there for the Red Bull MotoGP rookies selection event at Mike G Guadix race track. Will happily come back just as a vacation! The area is THE coolest with lots of caves and spectacular landscapes!!

Beautiful place. Like in the pictures. The caves apartments are great attraction, interesting and looks like taken from fairytales. The ladies at the reception were wonderful, very kind and spoke excellent English. They recommended to visit the caves museums in the near town which was great. We loved it a lot. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent. We enjoyed the dinner very much. Don’t miss it. The apartment was very well equipped and clean. Wonderful place. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Cuevas la Granja. All of the staff were very efficient and welcoming. Ate dinner in the restaurant which was first class. Bed maybe a little on the firm side but we found it comfortable. Excellent water pressure for a great shower. We will more than likely visit again in the future.

Lovely hotel with great customer service
This is a great place to stay. Lovely apartment within walking distance to the village. The hotel managers were really helpful, giving us some great tips on where to go in Guadix and the on-site restaurant is also extremely good.

Lovely and charming hotel in beautiful area
We really enjoyed our stay at Cuevas La Granjas, Sylvia was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area. We wanted to relax in the middle of our Andalucian trip, Cuevas La Granjas was the perfect place for that, the caves are lovely and very charming, well equipped, there is a swimming pool for hot days, a kids playground, a nice garden to sit and relax in, it was really perfect for us.

fascinating area
Sylvia at the desk was incredible, helped us out in so many thoughtful and detailed ways. The area is remarkable, over 3000 people living in caves carved out of the landscape, great place to visit and explore. A terrific restaurant right there at the small hotel too.

Personalen helt fantastisk. Läget är otroligt vackert. Bra restaurang. Kul att bo i grotta. Kan rekommenderas. Ett enda litet minus är sängarnas hårdhet.
