Just be aware of Hostel scheduled events and how that may impact -positively and negatively- your stay, such as karaoke or live music.

Fabulous location just a few blocks from the main entertainment district. Very nice staff. Great beer garden, beer/cider truck, food trucks, hammocks, bikes, tv room with at least 10 guitars for guests to use, sun room, sauna with great showers. Terrific!

The building is obviously old, but it's been kept up on pretty well. It has a great vibe, and is very nicely set up for just hanging out with friends or getting to know others. Wish I was able to stay for a few more days- maybe next time.

The staff there were all right. But cleanliness of my room was questionable. The room smelled like someone hasn’t showered in three weeks and the bathrooms and kitchen weren’t accessible. I slept two hours last night and woke up sneezing because of the putrid smell sweat that was lingering in my room. This is my first time staying in a hostel so I’m not sure if this is normal, but I’d much rather stick to hotels. When I woke up at 1 AM last night, I regretted my decision in staying at a hostel.

Careful. If you book on Expedia and check in late, they won't be able to reach you as Expedia provides no personal contact info, so you'll want to call in advance. The shared rooms created a tricky dynamic where some people were hot, and needed the fan on, while others didn't like the sound of the fan and would turn it off. Also, people coming in and out at all hours can make for a disruptive night of sleep. Works if you're in your early 20s and looking to stay on the cheap. Good location and food truck vibe. Showers are clean. Bring your own towel. Theirs are worn.

The property is not safe, the doors do not lock, the mattress has a burn whole, the bathroom was dirty and when we tried to check out early for our safety no one was around. Then they refused to provide a refund, even for the night we didn’t stay. This property should not be on Expedia, it is basically like a flop house. Awful and unsafe.

The biggest plus point of this place is the location . It’s near down town and very walkable to famous places. Pros Washroom in my building was ok Ample parking space in and around property Food trucks on premises. Cons Whole property felt mismanaged My room was hot as an oven. I could not sleep at all at night because of the heat and no ventilation. It was even difficult to sit there. When I asked the front desk , they said they will look into this but nothing was done. There is an odd smell in the building which might be lack of deep cleaning and old carpets. Also it seems that some people live there permanently and use the rooms and bathrooms as their personal closets. Won’t stay again.

I showed up and the staff all seemed hungover and disorganized. My room wasn’t ready. They couldn’t check me in cause the computer died. They tried to check me in anyway. They showed me my bunk and my linens weren’t clean. They all seemed like kind people. But the vibe was wack. I am not sure why the reviews are so good. Go find yourself a campground.
