"The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms were clean (very clean kitchen and bathroom) grounds are maintained and very quaint and cooling. Nice pool too! However you cannot beat the location! You can get up 10 minutes before sunrise and still make it to the beach. Restaurants minutes away and the best shore snorkeling/diving anywhere! Parking is convenient and easy. We will be booking again!"

"The hotel offers good value for the price. However, the air conditioner was extremely loud, and even with earplugs it was very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The location is excellent. The neighborhood is beautiful, with plenty of gardens and pleasant walking areas. There are many shops nearby, and the beach is only about a 6-minute drive away."

"The Sealord did not disappoint. The staff was exceptional for meeting the owner Richard to Sarah at the front desk to Marco who took care of the beach chairs and the towels, etc. the staff was phenomenal. The food was excellent. The amenities were perfect. It felt like we were not even in Florida like we read a resort somewhere tropical thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The room was good. Our bedroom door didn’t lock and most of the TVs couldn’t connect to the internet of the property. The outside was ok and there was construction during our visit."

"The receptionist was exceptionally kind, the location is prime, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a walkable distance, very comfortable beds, you can walk right out into the sand on the beach, pool was clean, free paddle board & kayak usage, & parking is included."

"Nice place but very rude front desk. She never even looked at us and mumbled the whole time. Small fridge on the floor of the room and no microwave. The staff basically acted as if you were a burden on them. We stayed at 8 different cities on this two week trip and I wish we would have skipped this one on the way back. The last place we stayed in Ft. Lauderdale was great."
