"My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel had the spacious and luxurious atmosphere. Staff were kind and room was clean, pleasant and had a beautiful Mountain view. Breakfast buffet selections were very nice and the dining room and the cafe at 9th floor also had a great view. The restaurant for dinner was a bit fancy, but also offer take-out chicken you can eat in your room. There are stores and restaurant near by if needed. The best part of the hotel was...

"Just a few minutes from the 7-1 bus stop, making this accessible from both Sokcho and Seoraksan National Park.
They had convenient amenities for a quick breakfast, my room was clean, and the host was always available if I needed anything."

"The manager was very nice and even though he spoke no english, we managed to communicate with him.
The area around the hotel was depressed and looked like some of the buildings were closed, almost a boarded up feeling.
The beds were hard as a rock, literally. Shower was great. Our big problem was mosquitos in the room. Even though the screens looked fine, mosquitos kept coming in. My daughter had at least 15 bites, many of them on her face from during the night. They buzzed us all night long....

"Casa Seorak is a lovely place in a convenient location for Sokcho and the national park.
The owner was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money and highly recommended."

"My room was spacious and clean and since it was off-season, exceptionally quiet. Although the hotel only has a breakfast bar and no other onsite food service, it is an easy walk from a wide variety of foodservice outlets, ranging from coffee shops to fast food to more traditional Korean restaurants. Parking is convenient and its central location gives good access to other attractions."

"The hotel seems new or, at the very least, newly remodeled. There is an outdoor pool which is free to use and very kid friendly. A sauna is in the basement, for a small fee, it is small but clean. They allow you to hang out on the rooftop, which is fantastic; it makes for wonderful nighttime views of the skyline. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Sokcho."

"I had a wonderful stay at the first accommodation facility in the City, which opened in 1931. The cozy and clean room satisfied me. The interior design and furniture were renovated, especially one of the pillows on the bed, which made me sleep so well. I would like to recommend to all of you who hesitate to pick legit hotels in the city."

"Staff was excellent, always going above and beyond to provide excellent service. As one example, on check-in the staff offered us a free upgrade to an available room that had more ammenities than the one we had booked."

"We came to Korea to visit a friend and explore with her. We picked the Kensington as suggested by our friend. We love the camping vibe of this hotel. We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. Note , it is very sparsely decorated inside. There was a third bedroom with no furnishings. Each guest room had a bbq outside to grill. The bathroom, I must say took me a bit to get used to, it was big, but after I showered, the whole bathroom was wet. This hotel is for nature lovers and family. It has trials to hike, farm animals to visit and an overall woodsy feel. We also booked an excellent breakfast and I loved the rice noodle soup. I wish we had more time here, we would love to come back to this retreat for rest and relaxation. Thank you for the experience "
