"Le Manoir d'Auteuil was the perfect “home base” for exploring Quebec City. The location on Rue d'Auteuil was close to all Quebec City has to offer, both in and out of the city walls. The room was quiet, comfortable, and well appointed, and the included light continental breakfast (croissants, crepes, and coffees) was a great start to each day. Finally, the staff is first rate, polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Make your reservation and prepare for a lovely stay!"

Since there’s no elevator, I was initially concerned because my husband has ankle issues, but the stairs ended up being completely manageable and didn’t cause any problems. Its only a very short walk to great bars and shops and the funicular will take you up top to even for action. We liked that it was just outside all that action. We would not hesitate to stay again."

There were a number of pubs and restaurants in buildings with centuries of history. The property itself was easy to get into and was warm and cozy after a cold day of touring Old Quebec."

The hotel is beautiful with a lot of charm and character, beds are comfortable, the staff is amazing, conveniently located with a short walking distance to all the sites, shopping, restaurants (the Italian restaurant at the hotel is very good), quiet, and very clean. "Clean and comfortable. Room was good size. Shower and bath are excellent. It just takes a couple minutes for the hot water to get flowing, but it will get very hot when it gets there. Only two things I would change. 1. The coffee maker is great if you don’t like regular coffee ( we went to Tim Hortons every morning because they only had espresso machines). 2. Thermostat was locked ( while the temperature was good, it’s still nice to have control)"
