"The room was booked through Expedia 3 months ago. I requested a quiet room(not right by ice maker, elevator, etc) but refused by the receptionist. The reason is how the room was booked. Hey, I paid more than the hotel's web site pricing as I checked after getting into the room. "This is a beautiful old hotel. The grounds are so well maintained and beautiful. We stayed in the Theodore Roosevelt room, which was lovely with a sitting room. My only complaint was that the couch and chair were not usable. They were extremely uncomfortable., so we didnt really get to enjoy the sitting room."
